The Dominica Association of Evangelical Churches (DAEC) is seeking to establish
an online spiritual hotline during the COVID-19.

The announcement was made by the president of the association, Pastor Randy Rodney.

With the use of this hotline, the DAEC will provide counseling for persons dealing
with COVID-19 stress, depression and suicidal thoughts among others.

“We want to establish a hotline where people can call us anonymously and we can
provide counseling for them,” Rodney says.

He further added, “We’re hoping that as we keep talking to our partners, we will
get some stakeholders in ensuring that we have a hotline where Dominican can
call, call for help, call because they need some support and some lifting.”
