Rev. Al Maxime
Rev Al Maxime is a Dominican-American pastor, based in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Mahaut, Dominica, and grew up in Massacre, Dominica. At the age of nineteen, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior in Soufriere, St Lucia. He married Joyce Maxime on May 4th, 1983 on his twenty-third birthday.
In 1986, he moved to Florida and continued his ministry. He became one of the first Dominicans to start working with the Haitian community. He quickly learned the language and is now versatile. He communicates with the Haitian community and it is hard to believe that he is not 100% Haitian.
Rev Al Maxime vehemently believes that "If God is not in it, then I am not part of it."Rev Al Maxime is the only Dominica - Haitian - American pastor in Highlands County and has been serving the community for over 20 years faithfully and has been in ministry for over 40 years.
