The Achievement Learning Center under the directorate of Beverly Leblanc will host training seminars all over the island in the coming months in employability skills.

The seminar sponsored by UK-AID seeks to train about 550 individuals between the ages of 15 – 30.

On completion of the training, participants will be awarded a level 1 employability skills certificate from the United Kingdom employing body.

Leblanc says that many times employers complain that young employees do not have the necessary work ethic to excel on the job; therefore the main purpose of the training is to better equip youth for the various workforce.

The training will target disadvantaged youth as well as persons with disabilities.
