1. The Holy Trinity

  • Matthew 28:19 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

  • 2 Corinthians 13:14 - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

2. The Divinity of Jesus Christ

  • John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  • Colossians 2:9 - For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.

3. The Virgin Birth

  • Matthew 1:23 - "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us).

  • Luke 1:35 - And the angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.

4. The Sinless Life of Jesus Christ

  • Hebrews 4:15 - For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

  • 1 Peter 2:22 - He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.

5. The Atonement

  • Romans 5:8 - But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  • 1 John 2:2 - He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

6. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

  • 1 Corinthians 15:4 - And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

  • Matthew 28:6 - He is not here; for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7. Salvation by Grace through Faith

  • Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

  • Romans 3:24 - And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

8. The Inerrancy of the Bible

  • 2 Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

  • Psalm 12:6 - The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.

9. The Church

  • Matthew 16:18 - And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

  • Hebrews 10 25 - Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

10. The Sacraments: Baptism and Communion

  • Acts 2:38 - And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

  • 1 Corinthians 11:26 - For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

11. The Second Coming of Christ

  • Matthew 24:30 - Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

12. The Final Judgment

  • Revelation 20:12 - And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

  • 2 Corinthians 5:10 - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

13. The New Heaven and New Earth

  • Revelation 21:1 - Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

  • Isaiah 65:17 - For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.

14. The Love of God

  • John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

  • 1 John 4:8 - Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

15. The Omnipotence of God

  • Jeremiah 32:27 - “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”

  • Matthew 19:26 - But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

16. The Omniscience of God

  • Psalm 139:4 - Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

  • Hebrews 4:13 - And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

17. The Omnipresence of God

  • Psalm 139:7-10 - *Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

  • Jeremiah 23:24 - Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.

18. The Immutability of God

  • Malachi 3:6 - For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

  • Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

19. The Sovereignty of God

  • Psalm 115:3 - Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

  • Proverbs 19:21 - Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

20. The Holiness of God

  • Leviticus 19:2 - "Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy."

  • 1 Peter 1:16 - Since it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."

21. The Justice of God

  • Deuteronomy 32:4 - The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

  • Psalm 89:14 - Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.

22. The Mercy of God

  • Psalm 103:8 - The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

  • Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

23. The Faithfulness of God

  • 2 Timothy 2:13 - If we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.

  • Deuteronomy 7:9 - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.

24. The Incarnation of Jesus Christ

  • John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  • Philippians 2:7-8 - But made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

25. The Intercession of Jesus Christ

  • Romans 8:34 - Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

  • Hebrews 7:25 - Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

26. The Ascension of Jesus Christ

  • Acts 1:9 - And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

  • Mark 16:19 - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

27. The Imminent Return of Jesus Christ

  • Revelation 22:12 - "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done."

  • Matthew 24:44 - Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

28. The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

  • John 14:17 - Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

  • 1 Corinthians 3:16 - Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

29. The Fruit of the Spirit

  • Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

  • Ephesians 5:9 - For the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true.

30. The Gifts of the Spirit

  • 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 - To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

  • Romans 12:6-8 - Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

31. The Great Commission

  • Matthew 28:19-20 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

32. The Sanctity of Human Life

  • Psalm 139:13-14 - For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

  • Genesis 1:27 - *So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

33. The Sanctity of Marriage

  • Genesis 2:24 - Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

  • Ephesians 5:31 - "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."

34. The Importance of Prayer

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

  • Philippians 4:6-7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

35. The Call to Love and Serve Others

  • John 13:34-35 - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

  • Galatians 5:13 - For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

36. The Importance of Forgiveness

  • Matthew 6:14-15 - For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

  • Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

37. The Power of God's Word

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

  • Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

38. The Importance of Fellowship

  • Hebrews 10:24-25 - And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

  • Acts 2:42 - And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

39. The Call to Humility

  • Philippians 2:3-4 - Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

  • James 4:10 - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

40. The Importance of Perseverance and Spiritual Growth

  • James 1:2-4 - Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
